At Oil & Vinegar, we believe we offer a one of a kind business opportunity that is fun, economically viable and personally rewarding. However, finding the right "fit" is what is most important to us. Therefore, we take the time and provide the personal contact through a comprehensive "discovery" process, to help you (and us) determine whether or not a retail franchise business and specifically an Oil and Vinegar franchise shop would be a great fit for you.

It is important to note that throughout our entire process we will be providing you with a great deal of information, practical examples, and answers to your questions regarding our franchise program to the best of our means. We will also learn as much as we can about you, your background, personality, business acumen, and goals. Below, we have outlined the specific steps in our discovery process:

First formal contact is made through an initial inquiry received by Oil & Vinegar through this website.
A representative from Oil & Vinegar will contact you within 48 business hours to schedule an initial call.
The initial call will be conducted to assess your level of interest and qualifications, in addition you will be provided a general overview of the franchise program and preliminary questions addressed.
If mutual interest to move forward still exists, then our application must be completed on-line or printed and faxed/mailed to us for consideration.
Upon receiving a completed and qualified application, we will mail you our current Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) package.
Once you have provided us with a confirmation of receipt of the FDD, a call will be conducted to discuss and answer questions related to our FDD.

At this point, we will open up our entire franchise network to you. You will be able to contact and visit as many of our franchisees as you choose. This will give you an opportunity to hear “first-hand” what it is like to own and operate an Oil & Vinegar shop.
An in-depth interview is scheduled to further discuss your strategy and business plans as it pertains to markets of interest, number of stores, real estate, marketing ideas, infrastructure, etc. Time is also spent answering additional questions pertaining to our FDD and the outcomes of your discussions with current franchisees.

As the final step in the process you will be invited to a formal discovery day at one of our current store locations. You will have a chance to confirm everything you think you already know about Oil & Vinegar, plus much more. At the end of Discovery Day, there should be no unanswered questions. You will now be able to make a fully informed decision on whether or not Oil & Vinegar is the right “fit” for you.
You will be notified of our decision to formally offer you a franchisee contract within 48 hours of attending Discovery Day.
If you decide to accept our offer and join our franchise network, you will need to sign a franchise agreement which triggers everything to move full steam ahead.
Our support team will assist you from this point forward, from site selection through grand opening and beyond.
